Navigation of Machine Readable Files Resource
- Navigate to the website mrfdata.hmhs.com.
- Click on the appropriate region based on your Plan Code*
- The Table of Contents file will appear in the download section. The file will need to be opened via a web service that supports JSON files. Services include Firefox, Notepad (most commonly used but will not support large files) or UltraEdit (Can support large files, more user-friendly but is a paid service).
Machine Readable Files - How Do Clients Find Their Information?
- Search with Employer Identification Number (EIN) within the Table of Contents (CTRL+F or CMD-F). EIN will be displayed in the "Plan Id Type" field.
- Select in-network or out-of-network URL
